I have made myself start typing a book that has written itself in my head. It's the story of Rita, who owns an art-supply store, and Kyle, a painter who is one of her best customers. Kyle is going on a trip to the Southwest to do some painting, and Rita decides she should go along. She's 55; he's 25. The expected mayhem ensues.

 

The book is done now, and I am hoping to put up a couple of chapters soon. I can't do that yet, because the novel is getting a glance from someone big enough to make a difference. I'm looking forward to sharing it soon.
