You would think I'd learn. It's bad enough that I have collected just 26 of 50 U.S. state mugs. But now I've gone and gotten a Manitoba mug. I did so by accident, I assure you--I was buying Ice Wine Glazed Smoked Salmon and I needed something to carry it back to my room. All they had was a mug.
So now I fear that my life will be consumed by traveling to places from which I have no mug, purchasing mugs, finding places to display mugs, and fending off offers to buy me mugs.
And if I get one from a Mexican state (31+1), or from a French Administrative Region (26, including some in the Caribbean), I'll be obligated to do some serious running around. I may have to stop traveling altogether. After I get my Irish County mugs.
So, here's where the Canadian collection stands. Please do not send me mugs. The main criteria for collecting these mugs are 1) that I buy them myself and 2) that I be in the province when I buy them. You can send me photos of cool mugs, and when I'm in your province, maybe we can meet and I'll buy it from you. But please don't mail me mugs, because I will wind up with 25 Nunavut mugs, or something like that, and I live in a small place.
